Day 1: Marrakech-Ouarzazate-Amridil Kasbah-Boumalne Dades 6 hours

Pick up at 08:00 from your hotel/Riad in Marrakesh and travel towards the verdant valley of Dades Gorges, drive through the Atlas mountains, and over the Tizi N’Tichka pass at 2.260 m, which offers spectacular panoramic views of mountains, valleys, and colorful Berber villages.

Travel south of Morocco to Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Africa for its Atlas film studios, where several blockbuster movies were shot. Then the road continues south towards the S’koura palm grove where nearby, we will explore Amridil Kasbah, then Kelaat Mgouna, the town of roses. After reaching the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night at the hotel, dinner & breakfast.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades-Todgha Gorges-Erfoud-Merzouga 5 hours

After having your breakfast, our luxury Morocco adventure tour packages will take you a short distance to the Tinghir and Todgha gorges, where you may take a stroll and see the gorge’s steep sides and the sky above it. From there, we continue to Erg Chebbi via Tinjdad and the Oasis of Tafilalet near Erfoud. It’s famous for its date festival.

Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, we can stop to go down into the fascinating underground water channels deep below the earth, always cool and preventing the evaporation of this source of irrigation. In Erfoud itself, we can stop to see the workings of thousands of fossils made into all sorts of artifacts. Lunch will be along the way. Then we will take a two-hour drive to Merzouga toward the camp in the big dunes, where we will have dinner and sleep in the Erg Chebbi at Luxury Desert Camp.

Day 3: Merzouga (Stay in the Sublime desert)

If you can get up early enough, you can enjoy the sunrise spectacular, when the color of the sand dunes and the shadow play are amazing to see. During your stay at the Sublime desert camp, you will have a private luxury tent, all meals included during your stay, in the bivouac. It also includes desert activities, camel trekking, and Sandboarding at Erg Chebbi, and after dinner, we gather around the fire to sing Berber music under a sky full of stars. Day 4: Merzouga-Rissani-Alnif-Tazarine-Tamnougalt Kasbah-Agdez 4 hours

Waking up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before having your breakfast, then the itinerary continues to the Draa River, via the village of Tazarine (featured in the film Babel), passing by N’kob. Lunch is somewhere along the way, and in the afternoon, the journey toward Tansikht is to drive along the ancient caravan route and discover the real Draa Valley with its huge palm trees and ancient villages. Then reach Agdez, at the head of the Draa Valley. There will be a visit to Tamnougalt Kasbah, overnight at a hotel, dinner & breakfast.

Day 5: Agdez-Ouarzazate-Ait Benhaddou-Telouet-Marrakech 5 hours
