Morocco desert tour from Ouarzazate, We start our experience in the morning through Taznakht, a Berber town known for its hand women’s Berber rugs and carpets. After that, we pass through Foum Zguid, the last village before the Sublime desert. Then we cross about 90 km off-road, and we will pass many fossilized rocks and Iriki Lake dry. From there, you will have the chance to experience Sandboarding, a camel ride, and a walk over the dunes to enjoy the sunset Sublime desert at Erg Chigaga. And after dinner, we will sing Berber music around a fire under the stars, and then sleep in the tent at Erg Chigaga. Enjoy sunrise over the big dunes of Morocco, then we will cross another adventure until M’hamid El Ghizlane, then we will take the road to Ouarzazate via Zagora.

Morocco Tour Itinerary:

Departure at 08:00 in the morning from Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga, then starting towards Taznakht, a Berber village famous for its hand women Berber rugs, and carpets. After that, the road continues to Foum Zguid, which is the last village before starting the Sublime desert and takes about 3 hours (90 km). We will pass many fossil rocks and Iriki Lake dry. Lunch will be in Foum-Zguid, or enjoy a picnic in the Sahara.

Then we will reach Erg Chigaga (about 40 km long and sandy). These dunes are far away from any civilization, and you will have the chance to experience Sandboarding, camel riding, and walking on the dunes to enjoy the sunset at Erg Chigaga. And after dinner, we gather around the fire and sing Berber music under the sky full of stars and the night sleeping in the tent at the desert camp.

We recommend waking up early to enjoy the sunrise, a breathtaking scene, and after breakfast, we continue our Morocco desert tour from Ouarzazate towards M’hamid, then Tamegroute, where we can make a stop if you want to visit the Quran Library and pottery, then Zagora and the Draa Valley, where you will pass many villages and gardens along the oasis of Draa. After that, we will cross the Tizi-N’Tinfifite (1660m) pass, then Ouarzazate, where we will end our Morocco desert tours from Ouarzazate.
