Morocco Tours Package Overview:

Marrakech to Zagora 2 days tour, Starting our trip and continuing to cross the Tizi N’Tichka (2260M) pass and the Tizi-N’Tinfifite (1660m) pass. Then, we reach Agdez and we pass through many villages and gardens. The road continues to Zagora, where you have a chance to enjoy a camel ride, sunset, and sunrise in the desert of Zagora. After breakfast, we will drive to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a Unesco-protected site, after passing through Agdez and Ouarzazate. Our drive continues back to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains.

Morocco Tour Itinerary:

We started our experience with Marrakech to Zagora 2-day tour desert camp. Pick-up is at 08:00 am, then we drive through the scenic High Atlas mountains (2260m) pass, enjoying the mountainous road and the spectacular Berber villages. The road continues to descend until you finally reach Ouarzazate. After that, we will cross the second pass which is Tizi N’Tinfifite (1660m), then reaches the head of the Draa valley at Agdez, after we will pass many villages and gardens so that you can gain a better idea of the way of life along with the oasis to Zagora.

There you will have an appointment with the dromedaries for a camel ride to access the authentic and little Sublime desert, the Berber bivouac located in the small dunes of Zagora. It was built in the pure Berber tradition to commemorate your life’s most memorable moments. You will be greeted by nomads with tea and Moroccan pastries. And after dinner during which you will enjoy an atmosphere around the fire to the sound of Sahrawi folklore, then you will spend the night in the tent.

On the second day, wake up early to enjoy the sunrise, then we will serve you a traditional breakfast. After we return to take the camels back to the road, we continue our trip for 2 days from Marrakech to Zagora, crossing the Draa valley through Agdez and the Anti-Atlas to Ouarzazate. Then we continue our road toward the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, then we will visit the Kasbah classified by Unesco cultural and human heritage. Lunch will be somewhere on the road. In the evening, we will arrive in Marrakech via the High Atlas to end our 2 days from Marrakech to Zagora.

Are bathrooms in the desert camp?

There are shared bathrooms and showers right outside your tent. There are private showers hot water in the shared bathroom area.

Are there electrical plus inside the tent where we can recharge our electronics?

Your Zagora Sahara desert camp’s common areas, dining areas, and the camp courtyard all include electrical outlets. On occasion, though, the power generators are shut down around midnight.

What should I wear for the camel ride?

When riding a camel, be sure to dress comfortably and loosely. If you choose to wear shorts in the Sublime Desert, long shorts are advised. To make your tour camel ride more comfortable, you should also to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.
