Morocco Tour Itinerary:

Pick up at 8:00 am and departure for Zagora from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Drive across the Atlas Mountains, via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2.260 m), which provides breathtaking panoramic views of mountains, valleys, and vibrant Berber towns, and then in the direction of the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified Ksar with lovely Kasbahs that is included on the Unesco World Heritage List.

For several filmmakers makers, Ait Benhaddou has provided natural settings. navigating the river to the opposite side in order to find the Ksar. We will cross the second pass, Tizi-N’Tinfifite (1660 m), after arriving at Agdez, the head of the Draa Valley, after going south of Ouarzazate.

For you to have a greater sense of the way of life beside the Oasis, we will pass by a lot of towns and gardens. Zagora will thereafter be reached. Breakfast dinner and a hotel overnight are included.

After breakfast, we will leave Zagora and towards Tamegroute, here you can make a stop to visit the ancient Quranic Library, pottery artisans, and the underground Kasbah to see its current inhabitants, then we continue to drive towards the M’hamid El Ghizlane village, where we’ll stop for lunch. After taking the desert tracks to Erg Chigaga dunes (300m) with 60 Km of off-road driving.

This route passes different features of the Sublime desert, “Erg, Reg, Hamada” These dunes are far away from civilization, in the desert proper, and the silence and the expanse of the sand are overwhelming.

You can also enjoy camel riding, try sandboarding, and watch the spectacular sunsets over sand dunes. We all gather around the fire after the meal to sing Berber songs under a starry sky. Camp in the Moroccan desert for the night near Erg Chigaga.

Waking up early in the morning to take in the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast, we then travel another 90 km (off-road) over desert paths through scenery that includes Lake Iriki, mountains, and fossils before reaching in the first town of Foum Zguid.

From there, we go on asphalt roads while passing through the Taznakht village, famous for its Berber carpets and rugs. Following that, we continue driving till we arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Your guide will assist you with that, and you directly pay the supplier in Erg Chigaga. They cost 60 Euros per quad an hour and 120 Euros per buggy per person for an hour.
