Morocco Desert Tour - Overview:

In the morning, we will depart on our desert tour in Morocco, traveling through Tinghir and the Todgha Gorges. Along the way, we will meet the Berber people and share moments with them. Then, you will enjoy a camel ride from Merzouga to the camp in Erg Chebbi, where you can watch the sunset on the dunes. On the second day, after sunrise and breakfast, we will continue our tour to Ouarzazate via Agdez.

Morocco Desert Tour - itinerary:

At 08:00 We will come to pick you up from your Hotel/Riad. We will leave Ouarzazate and begin our adventurous desert tour in Morocco, heading towards the lush valley of Dades. then we will go on to Tinghir and Todgha Gorges, where you can stroll for a short while to see the gorge’s sheer walls and the sky’s small width above.

There are incredible underground water canals between Tinjdad and Erfoud for you to visit, which are open for exploration. Then, we will arrive at Erfoud, where you can take a break to observe the thousands of fossils. After that, you will continue to Merzouga, where you will ride a camel and enjoy observing the sunset from the top of the dunes. You will then reach the desert camp, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in a tent.

We recommend you wake up early to enjoy the sunrise and breathtaking scenery. we will proceed to drive to the Draa Valley After having your breakfast. then we will stop in Agdez for lunch at a restaurant. Afterward, we will pass through the Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate, where we will end our desert tour.

Are bathrooms in the desert camp at Erg Chebbi?

Yes, the Shower is shared and located outside your tent.

Are there electrical plus inside the tent where we can recharge our electronics?

There will be electrical outlets in the Sahara desert camp.

Can we hire Quad or Buggy if desired in the middle of the trip?

Yes, you can. There is plenty of ATV in Merzouga that in good quality quad bikes and dune buggies to try in Erg Chebbi dunes. Your guide will help you with that, and in Merzouga, you pay the supplier directly. For one hour, a quad costs 40 euros per person, while a buggy costs 100 euros per person.

What do I wear for the camel ride?

Be sure to wear full and loose clothes on your camel ride, especially in the Sublime desert. Long shorts are perfect if you wish to wear shorts. To make your camel ride more pleasant, bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.
